About

It started with a pizza oven and a dream…
husband and wife Innis Lawrence and Sophie Peltzer-Rollo moved to High Falls, where Innis had spent part of his childhood, knowing that they wanted to eventually start serving pizza.

They soon fell in love with the Black Barn, a local landmark in the small Catskills town, and began restoring it. After partnering with Innis’s childhood friend Ilan Bachrach and chef Chris Bradley, their growing crew opened Ollie’s Pizza, a local spot for casual dining. Despite the unfortunate timing of opening in the summer of 2020, the restaurant was an immediate success, beloved by locals and visitors alike.

The group has since grown to nearby Kingston, where they now own Kingston Wine Co. (a popular wine and spirits shop in the Rondout) and have launched three new business in a historic midtown building across from the Ulster County Performing Arts Center.

This new Broadway project now houses Ollie’s Slice Shop (an NYC-style pizza counter), Fletcher & Lu (a French-inspired, nose-to-tail driven provisions shop) and Eliza (a bistro helmed by Chef Chris).

Driven by a deep love and personal history with the region, Ollie’s Group is proud to be a part of the Ulster County community.
