About
Innis Lawrence and Sophie Peltzer-Rollo met working in restaurants in 2007, and despite several interim years in other careers, food and beverage always had their hearts.
When the opportunity arose to purchase the Black Barn, an historic landmark smack dab in the center of their hometown of High Falls, NY, they jumped at the chance and began restoring it. In partnership with Innis’s childhood friend Ilan Bachrach, they opened Ollie’s Pizza (named after their young daughter) in August of 2020.
The group has since grown to nearby Kingston, where they are now at the helm of Kingston Wine Co., a beloved indie natural wine shop that first launched in 2013 in the Downtown Waterfront District, as well as three new storefronts in a single historic building in Midtown, that were created in partnership with Chris Bradley and Julien Shapiro.
This new Broadway project now houses Ollie’s Slice Shop (an NYC-style pizza counter), Fletcher & Lu (a French-inspired, nose-to-tail driven provisions shop) and Eliza (a bistro helmed by Chef Chris).
Driven by a deep love of food and wine and the camaraderie they create, along with a profound personal connection with the area, Ollie’s Group is proud to be a part of the Hudson Valley community.
